This week

This week has been a crazy one, especially due to school. Getting back into the swing of things after having a month off can be somewhat overwhelming. Like most everyone else, I also had some financial aid trouble. Luckly that got worked out just in time so I did not get dropped from my classes. There has been so much homework assigned already as well. I am not complaining, but it is something new to me after transferring from Pittsburg State University where in the year and a half I was there had little to no homework aside from studying for midterms and finals.

I also have a job that keeps me very busy. This week I worked 37 hours. I enjoy my job and the people that I work with. It is  a good environment and everybody gets along for the most part. I can already tell this is going to be a hectic semester taking on 17 hours of school, working almost full-time, and being newly married, but then again it is nothing new since I have been working ever since I turned 16. The being married part is definitely new, but I love every minute of it. My husband and I got married on January 7th of this year. I am so glad that it was a pretty day out, and that it did not snow on us. Everything went really smoothly and we decorated it really pretty. Whenever we walked out we walked out to the theme song music from the hilarious TV show "The Office." I do not know about anyone else but that show is by far my favorite.

We did not do much for our honeymoon right after the wedding. We did go stay at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson for a few nights because someone at my church gave it to us. It was beautiful out there and very peaceful. For our actual honeymoon we are going on a cruise in March which I am very excited for! I have never been on a cruise in my life so it will definitely be a new and fun experience.

  1. I agree! This semester has started out with a bang and tons of homework, unfortunately. I honestly don't know how you are doing what you're doing! Working 37 hours a week seems stressful, along with 17 hours in one semester. I am having a hard time even working the weekends, because of all the studying and homework I do during the week, and mainly because I want/need a life. If I don't have time to relax, I can't stay focused. Kudos to you girl for doing it all, and being married! I am glad your wedding day was beautiful out, also. I love weddings and absolutely can't wait to get married, but the planning will have to wait for when I am finished with school!

  2. Congratulations! What a whirlwind start to the semester. It does get so overwhelming. It sounds like you are taking it all in stride. It seems like I just figure out how to juggle everything and get a routine and then the semester is over and I have to start again. I'm glad your financial aid worked out when it did. It sounds like your plate is full enough without any additional complications. Well, good luck this semester. Hope it all goes well for you. Try to soak up being a newlywed.
